Angair Self-Guided Walks

We hope you enjoy these self-guided walks prepared by our local Angair specialists. Most of the walks are designed for springtime to enable you to appreciate the district’s diverse array of flora and fauna – from Aireys Inlet to Southside, Bells Beach. There are also some all-seasons walks for families.

Each guided walk booklet is viewable online – on computer, tablet or phone – and can be downloaded. We suggest you take the walk descriptions with you on your mobile device.

Printable one-page species checklists for each of the walks are available as well.

Note: An * indicates the walk may have been impacted by recent strategic fuel breaks, planned burns as well as natural attrition.

It may take several years for all the recorded plant species to regrow. Fire will encourage the regrowth and seed germination of many species. They will often return in large numbers and in areas where they have not been previously recorded.

The Flora checklist will be a useful tool where these changes have occurred.
